“What will you remember?” is a year-long exploration of how memory works in the face of ongoing change.
365 paintings are on display at the Mark Dahle Art Gallery in Red Cloud, NE. Each day in 2025, one of the paintings will be replaced. At the end of the year no paintings will remain from the starting point of the exhibit.
The Opening Reception for the exhibit is Saturday, January 4, at 7 p.m.

The Mark Dahle Art Gallery, 333 N. Webster St. in Red Cloud, has 8,000 square feet of display area, showing paintings, photography and film. The gallery screens free classic movies as a community service throughout the year.
The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, but to be sure we're here when you arrive, make a reservation at 858-736-7395. If you don't make a reservation, Mark could easily be out taking pictures and painting.
Currently the gallery is featuring a great selection of photographs by Jim Manternach, about 40 portfolios by Mark Dahle and an exhibit of 365 paintings, "What will you remember?"

The gallery a long ways from major airports, so bring snacks for the road trip. Denver is about six hours away; Omaha is three hours distant. If you have a small plane, head for airport 7V7. We're 1.3 miles away from that.
Hotel Garber is scheduled to open in late February 2025; it is across the street from the gallery. Green Acres Motel and Bell's RV Park are both a mile away. A number of rooms are available on airbnb that are within a mile. Motel chains are located in Hastings, about 50 minutes away.
